Alice Costumes: Cheshire

Cheshire Cat. :3 As with all these costumes, I swear they look better in real life (and I also swear that they'd look better if done digitally).

One thing I have to say about the other groups doing Alice (hahah, shows HOW ORIGINAL I was in my choice of play: like two other groups also did Alice) was that their Cheshire cats weren't cool. D: One was just a furrier version of the Disney cat and the other was like Bob Dylan or something (a 60s theme) which could have been cool if they hadn't obviously done it on a whim (hey who was alive in the 60s? I KNOW: BOB DYLAN).

The Cheshire cat here is actually FEMININE (identifiable by the vanity shroud) and slightly anachronistic >3. It can hide behind the veil if it needs to disappear (or reveal only certain parts, like the hands or the smile). It's got a simple white/black theme, is very slender and has a slight matsuri/festival cut to the kimono. It should be easy to move around in and look like someone who's there on his own for mischief. Oh and the mask half-on--I actually have no idea what the tradition is for that, but I thought it was cool. XD Oh and he's also a fox here, not really a cat.
