First year film design idea

After much grief, I have concluded that the most important part of my angel+vampire+cathedral story . . . is the cathedral. 8|

What may be happening is the story is revamped to center around a gargoyle that I'd designed and sort of trashed earlier (M'emo was supposed to transform from a gargoyle to an angel) and a priest character who might have shown up in the ending.

SO the considerably simpler story goes:
A gargoyle steals communion wine. A priest chases him. He uses magic by dipping his staff in holy water : D

It's also sort of a "M'emo does something fun without thinking about it, Chance pays the consequences" kind of scenario that you would be familiar with if I ever actually posted about the real story for those two.

Yes the priest is Chance! I thought that was cute. He has little glasses. the M'emo!gargoyle is somehow really really fun to draw. Hope that's a good sign. Um--according to M'emo!canon, he would be able to take on an animal-like shape using about half the life energy he would usually require to take on his human form. This would mean that Chance could exist at the same time--but with limited control over himself. That's not really taken into account for this story, though, because I'm ditzy and don't pay attention to my own canon. :\

Set-up: EXPONENTIALLY EASIER TO ESTABLISH. I still fear that I'm reverting to a dull story idea for simplicity's sake but let's see how it goes.

.....all my stories are SO CATHOLIC. This basically ensures that I will be the only one who even cares about this story.

OH, incidentally I've been staring at character design lately and have been attempting--attempting!--to make Hyde's design somewhat more interesting. He's not associated with this film because my Jekyll/Hyde story is awfully dialogue-based, but I've been doodling him all day so here he is.

He seems to want to look more tiger-like, but I'm not sure I approve.
