My little long-weekend project. : D I've been feeling awful about my ability to really do animation for fun--the process is still really too much of a trouble to me for me to really enjoy it--plus certain events have led me to believe I really ought to brush up on my movement.
Those little eartails. 8| No wonder they went out of style of bishounen like years ago. They caused me much turmoil in figuring out how to draw them when he turned. Uck, I still get tripped up by such simple things......
I think it's some kind of sin to animate on threes while trying to do exercises out of The Animator's Survival Guide. "You must animate on 1s! 1s, I TELL YOU! It is the way of righteousness....!" I think I really like 3s, though, I like the weight it holds. Only sometimes it's really hard to see what you're doing. . . .
The way I've done up Haruki's hair really makes him look like a girl. D: For the moment I am attached to it because I think it makes him look just a little bit like a fire-type pokemon.
I - I won't lie. In the preview thumbnail he looks a terrible bit like Zero Suit Samus. D:
However here he looks like a clompy ladybug. Adorable! It looks like you've managed to accomplish the clomp-clomp-clomp of pacing without abusing squash-'n'-stretch. Well done!

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
