I should have drawn this months ago, when Coraline actually came out.... XD
Silly warm-up (sort of) drawings.... I think Hyde ought to be smaller than he is, given the proportions. Meh, getting proportions right for Jekyll is nasty as well . . . it's a bit cartoonish.
I think an other!Jekyll would be a perfect model of the society gentleman AND neat scientist. He always has the energy to entertain dozens of guests and to perform for adoring crowds cool-looking chemistry experiments. He CERTAINLY wouldn't be a needy addict.
Hyde would be largely the same, since he is already more of a personified idea than a person anyway. The main difference is that real Hyde can actually screw up pretty bad and freak out and lose confidence when he does so. I think he's holding a firecracker or something.
P.S. I'm late on a commisson--sorry sorry sorry sorry that it's so late! The small project I'm working on has been eating up my time leik woah. D:

Perhaps one day the Indian will put down his tomahawk and the white man will put down his gun, and the white man will pick up his gun again because haha, sucker.
I LOVE how you draw pants and fabrics. All of your angles are so dynamic. And they work, but also the decisive way you add in lines is like, "You know what, this is going here. Don't try to change me."
I guess what I mean is that, like, I really love how you work with a flow of lines, but at the same time know how to whip 'em to shape. 8D
